This is The Mix: Spring 2009! Custom built by Hed Kandi to become the soundtrack to your spring fever (in whatever form that may take). So whether you're itching with the urge to shake your thing on a HK dancefloor every night of the week, or whether you're just itching with a bit of hay fever and would rather stay indoors, we've got all the must-have tunes for this season, beautifully arranged into a fresh 3CD mix.

CD1 bursts into a glorious sonic bloom with the opening track Show Me Love and a remix from king of clubs Steve Angello which has been raising the roof on Hed Kandi dancefloors for some time now and begging for a release. The club vibe remains throughout disc one passing through a plethora of production gurus from Warren Clarke to Wawa. This is the sound of Hed Kandi's Friday night.

CD2 keeps those well-sprung grooves coming with Chanel (recognise this?), Rudenko , No Halo and Ali Payami to name a few alongside Ministry of Funk taking us Way Back (you've got to recognise this!) and Jenny Jones with her take on Jade's nineties Don't Walk Away (come on now, you know it!). Hed Kandi favourites and masters of all that is disco house Freemasons drop not one but two huge remixes to book-end this second disc adventure into the core of Kandi.

CD3 brings you a glimpse into our World Series collection. Our usual World Series outings are location specific (e.g. San Francisco, Ibiza) but being our mix album we decided to give you a taste of Kandi from a global palette. Tracks selected for this CD are those which have made an impact on our worldwide events from Vegas to Sydney. This disc has been spun relentlessly here at HKHQ while we carve out shiny new albums to the sound of Sandy Rivera and 'this.. this.. this this this', which we admittedly can't stop!
